DEMILICH To Play Final Gig This Month

July 6, 2006

Finnish death metal legends DEMILICH will play their final gig in their hometown of Kuopio on July 22. Also appearing on the bill will be DEATHBOUND. Entrance to the 18-and-over concert is free.

The DEMILICH bandmembers will continue with various projects, one of which will feature exactly the same lineup as the group's most recent formation.

DEMILICH recenty announced plans to release a CD called "v34ish6ng 0f emptiness" (Xtreem Music) and an LP called "em9t2ness of van2s1ing" (Morbid Thoughts Records). They will mainly consist of the familiar demos, but will also include bonus material, including two rehearsal songs from 1992 (one for the CD, another one for the LP) and one completely new song (for the CD only). The LP will be limited to 397 copies, each autographed and numbered, and no more copies will be pressed ever again. The CD has no such limits.
