DEMENTRA To Release Final CD

August 4, 2004

Indian extreme metal band DEMENTRA will release their second and final CD, "Lost At Creation", on August 7 via various online music outlets and stores. "Since we have always believed in the power of online distribution through the Net, we feel like giving back to the you the fans what you have given to us — your endless belief and support for the past 7 years," the band write on their web site. "This album is dedicated to you, the fans."

"Lost At Creation" track listing:

01. Eat the Plague
02. Thirst for Betrayal
03. Nightcrawler (JUDAS PRIEST cover)
04. Free the Flesh
05. Beyond the Mask

"Lost At Creation" contains five raw trash metal tracks recorded live by the band at a home studio. "We have chosen to record this way in a raw format, [with] no help [from] studio software, just the real thing because it is the raw and original form that should really appeal to people," the band write. "We have always believed in that. People should appreciate your music for what it originally is (minus what you can do it or could have done to it). The songs are pure hardcore metal tracks with deep hitting lyrics which speak about ending a negative reality that exist around us by recreating a positive change in the world we chose to exist in."
