DEFTONES To Hit The Road In September, Enter Studio In November
DEFTONES fan site TheDeftones.com is reporting that the band have almost finished writing their eagerly anticipated fifth album, tentatively due in early 2005 through Maverick Records. The band are expected to enter the studio in early November with producer Bob Ezrin (KISS, JANE'S ADDICTION, PINK FLOYD) to begin recording the effort. Prior to commencing the recording sessions, the band will reportedly be embarking on a five-week North American trek. Exact cities and dates will be announced soon.
DEFTONES' last album, 2003's "Deftones", debuted at No. 2 on The Billboard 200 chart with more than 167,000 copies sold during its first week of release.
