DEFTONES In Talks With SYSTEM OF A DOWN Manager

DEFTONES are in talks with SYSTEM OF A DOWN/TAPROOT manager David Benveniste about representing the group following their split with longtime manager Warren Entner last month, according to Hits Daily Double. Also in the running for the position are Arthur Spivak (TORI AMOS, QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE, EVE 6),and Jim Guerinot (BECK, NO DOUBT, THE OFFSPRING).

DEFTONES' new CD, which had previously carried the working title of "Lovers", is due to be released in early 2003 through Maverick Records.
