DEFEATED SANITY: New Album Details Revealed

U.K.-based label Grindethic Records has set a February 2007 release date for the long-awaited sophomore album from German death metallers DEFEATED SANITY, entitled "Psalms of the Moribund".

According to a press release, "Psalms of the Moribund" contains "the band's heaviest material yet and adds more brutal slamming elements and progressive compositions into the mix of flawlessly technical death metal." The CD was produced by Jörg Uken at Soundlodge Studios in Rhauderfehn, Germany and was mastered by Robbe K of DISAVOWED. The cover artwork was created by German artist Ray and colored by Grindethic's own mercenary Tom.

DEFEATED SANITY was recently joined by bassist Jacob Schmidt (CEREBRIC TURMOIL). The group's lineup for the recording was as follows:

DEFEATED SANITY released its debut album, "Prelude to the Tragedy", in 2004 via Grindethic Records.
