DEF LEPPARD Drummer Organizes Benefit In L.A.

DEF LEPPARD drummer Rick Allen and the staff of his Raven Drum Foundation have organized a special event called "Soul Of The Drum" on Saturday, March 15 in North Hollywood, California. According to LEPPARD's official web site, "Soul Of The Drum" is a workshop, ceremony, benefit show and celebration, all in one event that combines Rick's rock drums with Baba Ayo Adeyemi's African rhythms. The event will teach participants "Sacred African ritual dance, chants, and rhythms, to bring free healing arts programs to the greater L.A. area." Cost of the workshop is $50 pre-register / $60 at the door, with all the proceeds to benefit the Raven Drum Foundation and Yoruba House. For more information, click here.
