DEEP PURPLE To Begin Work On New Album Next Year

DEEP PURPLE frontman Ian Gillan and producer Michael Bradford (KID ROCK, last DP album, "Bananas") are planing to work in February on ideas for the group's next album. Gillan will also begin work on a new solo CD.

In other news, DEEP PURPLE guitarist Steve Morse is currently negotiating with a major telecommunication network to supply Music True Tones (master recordings that can be downloaded and used as ringtones). The idea is to create two cataloguea of each 10-12 tones. The first will be called "Killer Riffs" and a second will be called "Sizzling Solos".
