DEEP PURPLE Singer Contributes Lyrics, Vocals To Japanese Video Game

According to a posting on the DEEP PURPLE fan site, PURPLE singer Ian Gillan has contributed lyrics and vocals to the Japanese video game Blue Dragon, developed by Mistwalker and distributed by Microsoft. The game was released in 2006 in Japan and will see an international release at the end of August 2007. The track in question is called "Eternity" and was co-written by Nobuo Uematsu, Hironobu Sakaguchi and Ian Gillan. In Japan it was released as a single accompanying the game.
