DEEP PURPLE Drummer's Moscow Clinic: Russian TV Report Available

A three-minute Russian TV report on DEEP PURPLE drummer Ian Paice's February 8, 2009 drum clinic in Moscow can be viewed below.

Ian Paice, 60, is the only founding member of DEEP PURPLE still performing with the group. Paice is known as one of the most gifted hard rock drummers throughout the genre's entire history.

Heavily influenced by Gene Krupa, Buddy Rich and other jazz drummers, Ian is one of the few hard rock skinsmen who uses swing and jazz inflections in his powerhouse style.

Paice has been taking part in drum clinics extensively since 1980s. Additionally he frequently performs with DEEP PURPLE cover bands, playing many obscure DEEP PURPLE songs that in some cases have never been played by the group itself.
