A Welsh TV documentary on DEEP PURPLE bassist Roger Glover is currently in production and is expected to air in October, according to www.deep-purple.net. Footage was shot at DEEP PURPLE's shows in Dublin and Glasgow, and Glover was interviewed backstage in Glasgow and Liverpool just before he went on stage. Although the documentary's producers hadn't originally planned to cover the Liverpool gig, they made some last-minute arrangements in order to be there. The program is being made by the same people who did a brief news item for HTV on BLACKMORE'S NIGHT in 2001.DEEP PURPLE's new album, "Bananas", is due in Europe on August 25 through EMI Records. The album's first single, "Haunted", will be released to radio stations on August 4.
