DEEP PURPLE: Audio Interview With IAN GILLAN Available

DEEP PURPLE fan site The Highway Star reports that Eric Wiltshire's interview with PURPLE singer Ian Gillan that was conducted earlier during the "Rapture of the Deep" tour has been posted on Youtube. Eric works for Radio Tatras International, which broadcasts out of Slovakia.

PURPLE gave a closed private performance on December 18, 2007 at the Congress Centre in Zurich, Switzerland. According to Swiss websites and, the gig was organized and financed by Swiss banker Stefan J. and three other individuals. About 1,000 people attended the concert. Reportedly, Ian Gillan started gig with the announcement "Hello and welcome to the LED ZEPPELIN reunion!"
