DEATH ANGEL: Video Interview With TED AGUILAR

September 22, 2012

T-Mobile-Music.pl conducted an interview with guitarist Ted Aguilar of San Francisco Bay Area metallers DEATH ANGEL on June 3, 2012 at Metalfest at Zalew Sosina in Jaworzno, Poland. You can now watch the chat below.

DEATH ANGEL recently added headlining dates around its upcoming tour with TESTAMENT and ANTHRAX this fall. The group will perform its 1987 classic debut album, "The Ultra-Violence", in its entirety at these shows.

"We had such a blast on the first two legs that we had to come back for thirds," commented guitarist Rob Cavestany. "TESTAMENT, ANTHRAX, DEATH ANGEL North American Tour Part III coming at ya live this September/October! This run will see us performing more dates in Canada since our 'Frolic Through the Park Tour' in 1988!"

He continued, "To top it off, after that tour ends, we continue on the road in the States with headline shows in support of the Silver Anniversary of our debut album, 'The Ultra-Violence'. We will be performing the entire album from beginning to end. We have never done this in the USA so prepare for a wicked set of pure old-school thrash!"

DEATH ANGEL made "The Ultra-Violence" available as a 25th-anniversary reissue after more than 10 years of being out of print. The CD was released on June 6 at 6:00 a.m. PST exclusively at the official DEATH ANGELwebstore. Cavestany said, "Digitally remastered but not altered, it sounds leagues better than the original pressing yet retains every ounce of vibe, character and feel that we put into our first record."
