After last year's departure of original guitarist/singer Matt Harvey, San Francisco thrashers SCARECROW have recruited the talents of Ted Aguilar (DEATH ANGEL) on guitar and ex-HATCHET frontman Marcus Kirchen on vocals. The lineup is rounded out by original members Bud Burke (EXHUMED) on lead guitar, Will Carroll (OLD GRANDAD, VICIOUS RUMORS) on drums, and Damien Sisson (POINTS NORTH) on bass. The band has just completed a three-song demo at Hyde Street Studios in San Francisco and has scheduled the following performances with all-new material:

April 02 - Caravan - San Jose, CA
April 03 - Elbo Room - San Francisco, CA (w/ THE SAVIOURS)
April 04 - Black Castle - Los Angeles, CA (w/ MERCYFUL FATE tribute HAIL SATAN)

Plans for a full-length recording are in the works.

Check out the new demo at this location.
