DEATH ANGEL Drummer Joins STEVE 'ZETRO' SOUZA's AC/DC Tribute Band

DEATH ANGEL drummer Will Carroll has joined AC/DZ, the San Francisco Bay Area-based AC/DC tribute band formed by legendary thrash singer Steve "Zetro" Souza (HATRIOT, TENET, DUBLIN DEATH PATROL, EXODUS, LEGACY) and executive producer Walter Morgan (organizer of the Thrash Of The Titans 2001 benefit concert). Will will sit behind the kit for AC/DZ whenever he is not busy touring with DEATH ANGEL.

Carroll made his live debut with AC/DZ on Saturday, July 14 at the Pine Street Bar In Livermore, California. A photo can be seen below.

AC/DZ's next live appearance is scheduled for August 24 at The Rodeo Club in San Jose, Headlining the show will WINGER.

"I've always had a very close relationship with AC/DC growing up; they influenced me heavily and this will mean a great deal to me," Souza previously told BLABBERMOUTH.NET.

"I love performing, and this is another just another side of me, paying tribute to one of the bands that helped define me as a singer."

In addition to Souza and Carroll, AC/DZ's current lineup includes Elena Luciano Repetto (BOMB SCARY, MOTHER EARTH, IMAGIKA) on bass, Dan Kopp on rhythm guitar, and Dave Chapman (RIFF/RAFF) on lead guitar.
