DAWN OF AZAZEL: Release Date Set For 'Sedition'

Ibex Moon Records has set a March 3 release date for the second studio effort from New Zealand death metallers DAWN OF AZAZEL, entitled "Sedition". The CD contains nine tracks of the band's "most brutal and vicious material to date," according to a press release. DAWN OF AZAZEL are also in the process of working out the details of their first U.S. tour, set to take place later this year.

DAWN OF AZAZEL will be embarking on the Southern Hemisphere Sedition Tour in late February through mid-March. "The tour will take us through New Zealand and Australia and also be playing our first shows in Thailand and Indonesia alongside DISGORGE," commented frontman Rigel Walshe. "We are extremely excited about having the honour of playing in both Indonesia and Thailand, we cant wait to play for all the crazy metaheads in these two countries!" The dates are as follows:

DAWN OF AZAZEL created a stir late last year after a New Zealand newspaper published an exposé on frontman Rigel Walshe's occupation as a police officer and the band's lyrical content (check previous BLABBERMOUTH.NET stories: Story#1, Story#2, Story#3).
