DARKTHRONE: 'Sardonic Wrath' Due In September

Norwegian black metallers DARKTHRONE will release their new album, "Sardonic Wrath", in September through Moonfog Productions. Cover artwork will be designed by young Italian artist Lorenzo Mariani, who has previously worked with MARDUK and ABORYM, among others.

" 'Sardonic Wrath' is finished, it will be 9 tracks on this release," commented DARKTHRONE guitarist/vocalist Nocturno Culto (a.k.a. Ted Skjellum). "Lorenzo Mariani convinced me on the cover artwork department. His stunning work for us on this release will be one of our best covers ever. No fuckin' glamour here!"
