DARKEST HOUR: New Album To Be Produced By DEVIN TOWNSEND

January 6, 2005

DARKEST HOUR have posted the following update on their official web site:

"We have some big news. First of all, the DARKEST HOUR DVD, 'Party Scars and Prison Bars, A Thrashography', is in the can and will be released February 22nd! Pre-order info as well as a downloadable (is that a word?) trailer will be up soon at Victory as well as here so check back. It's a killer thrashography that chronicles the entire (10 years as of this year!) existence of DARKEST HOUR from our first show (In 1995!) up through Ozzfest. Also included are deleted scenes, audio commentary, and a whole bunch of other fun stuff! Ryan, Paul, and director Mark 'Insaino!' Restivo put in some long hours on this one so don't miss it.

"Second, pre-production for the next DARKEST HOUR record has begun. DARKEST HOUR will be entering the studio in late February with producer Devin Townsend and recording for all of March. We will be adding a new little section to the web site with photos and we will be updating the news section with a little studio diary. Look for the new DARKEST HOUR record to hit stores early this summer! If you're interested in the new material, here is what the band has to say: 'Remember in 'Ghost Busters' how Egon tells the other dudes not to cross the streams and they do and shit gets brutal.....yeah that's what you can expect! Oh and you know Devin will bring some insanity to the mix!'"
