DARK TRANQUILLITY: Turkish Festival Appearance Cancelled, Photos From Video Shoot Posted Online

September 6, 2004

Sweden's DARK TRANQUILLITY have posted the following message on their official web site:

"Some bad news — we just recieved information that the Metal Monster festival, on the 9th of October in Istanbul, was cancelled by the promoter earlier today. We're very disappointed by this and want to make it clear that the cancellation was the decision of the festival organizers and not the bands involved. We were very much looking forward to playing in Turkey again for the first time since 2001, and hopefully we can schedule a new gig a.s.a.p.

"On a brighter note, the video clip for 'Lost to Apathy' is progressing very nicely. Have a look at some photos from yesterday's shoot here."

"Lost to Apathy" will be the first single off the band's upcoming studio album, tentatively due before the end of the year. "While it's too early to reveal any details, the end result promises to be a very different and unique piece of mayhem," a posting on the band's web site reads.
