DARK TRANQUILLITY: 'Shadow In Our Blood' Video Released

February 10, 2010

"Shadow In Our Blood", the new video from Swedish melodic death metallers DARK TRANQUILLITY, can be viewed below. The clip was created by Vasara Films (TURISAS, DRAGONFORCE) who also filmed and edited DARK TRANQUILLITY's live DVD, "Where Death Is Most Alive".

Comments vocalist Mikael Stanne: "If you guys are into torture, you might get a kick out of [our new video]. Imagine being strapped to a speeding motorized vehicle like one of those wooden maidens on pirate ships for 15 hours in the freezing cold forests of Finland and you might get an idea of what the video is all about.
The guys from Vasara Films once again did an excellent job."

"Shadow In Our Blood" comes off DARK TRANQUILLITY's ninth album, "We Are The Void", which will be released via Century Media Records on the following dates:

* Sweden: February 24
* Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Benelux, Italy, Australia: February 26
* Spain, Portugal: March 2
* Finland, Hungary: March 3
* U.K., France, Greece, Denmark, Norway, Rest Of Europe: March 1
* North America: March 9

DARK TRANQUILLITY is currently on the road in the U.S. with KILLSWITCH ENGAGE and THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA. Stanne states, "Four shows into the tour, we are now in lovely Atlanta, Georgia.

"The shows so far have been amazing. Tons of people have come out to all the shows and we have had a blast performing every night.

"We have been trying out some of the new songs and the response has been amazing. So we cannot wait for the album to come out so that we can play more of the new stuff that we are very proud of."

The drums for "We Are The Void" were recorded at bassist Daniel Antonsson's studio, while the remaining instruments were tracked at Martin Brändström's (electronics) newly renovated Rogue music facility. The mixing duties were once again handled by Tue Madsen (HALFORD, BEHEMOTH, KATAKLYSM, THE HAUNTED) at his Antfarm studio in Århus, Denmark.
