DARK NEW DAY Mixing New Album

DARK NEW DAY/ex-SEVENDUST guitarist Clint Lowery, who has spent most of this year fulfilling his touring duties with KORN, has issued the following update:

"The new [DARK NEW DAY] record is getting mixed right now and it's sounding great. Dave Bendeth, who produced it, is also mixing it. I think it's gonna be well worth the wait.

"Thanks to all that have stuck by us and hope to see you all on tour next year.

"The new DARK NEW DAY will be out early next year and as soon as we have a hard date on it you'll be the first to know."

In addition to Clint, DARK NEW DAY features Troy McLawhorn (guitar; EVANESCENCE, ex-DOUBLE DRIVE), Clint's brother Corey Lowery (bass; ex-STEREOMUD, STUCK MOJO) Brett Hestla (vocals; ex-CREED, VIRGOS MERLOT) and Will Hunt (drums; EVANESCENCE, ex-SKRAPE, TOMMY LEE).

Songtitles set to appear on the new DARK NEW DAY CD include "Simple", "Hail Mary", "Fiend", "Outside" and "Vicious Thinking".

DARK NEW DAY released its debut album, "Twelve Year Silence", in June of 2005. The disc featured the single "Brother".

Clint Lowery was arrested on July 5 at the Hodokvas Festival in Piestany, Slovakia after a "wild, drunken night" at the event, which ended with the guitarist trashing his room. Lowery was released the following afternoon from police custody after apologizing and paying for the damages.
