DARK ANGEL: San Francisco Headlining Gig Announced

August 28, 2002

The reformed DARK ANGEL — featuring guitarists Jim Durkin and Eric Meyer, vocalist Ron Rinehart, and drummer Gene Hoglan — are due to perform a headlining show at the Pound in San Francisco, California on Saturday, December 7th, according to the club's official web site. A headlining date at The Galaxy Theater in Santa Ana, California on December 6th is also said to be in the works. Additional west coast gigs are expected to take place around the same time.

As previously reported, DARK ANGEL are strongly rumored to be planning a surprise appearance (likely for only one or two songs) at the September 30th show by KREATOR/DESTRUCTION at The Galaxy Theater, where Durkin's new band DREAMS OF DAMNATION are scheduled to perform as one of the support acts.
