DANZIG Sign With REGAIN RECORDS

According to the daily Swedish music industry newsletter Musikindustin.nu (web site),DANZIG have signed a deal with Sweden's Regain Records for the release of the band's eighth studio album, tentatively due in April 2004. It is not presently clear if DANZIG's deal with Regain will cover only the Scandinavian territory or if it will include the rest of the European continent as well.

DANZIG have spent much of the past several weeks in the studio recording the as-yet-untitled follow-up 2002's "777: I Luciferi". As of early November, the basic tracks for nine songs had been recorded, including two cuts with the working titles of "Skin Carver" and "Devil's Night". DANZIG's current lineup (click here to view photo) consists of Glenn Danzig (vocals),Tommy Victor (guitar, PRONG),Bevan Davies (drums, COMES WITH THE FALL),and Jerry Montano (bass, ex-THE DEADLIGHTS).
