D.R.I. Ink Deal With BEER CITY RECORDS

September 23, 2002

D.R.I. have inked a deal with Milwaukee, Wisconsin-based Beer City Records and will shortly reissue their back catalog in CD-enhanced form through the label. According to the band's official web site, "The Dirty Rotten LP/CD will be released soon (October-November) with even more bonus tracks added to it. A couple of songs from the Vats demo session in 1983 and two radio interviews we did when we first started in '82. During the interviews, we play songs from our first bedroom-recorded demo, and live songs from one of our first gigs ever. The plan is the enhanced part of The Dirty Rotten LP/CD will contain video from the CBGBs show we did in 1984, a photo album/scrapbook with D.R.I. pictures, flyers and press from 1982-1984, and a screensaver and whatnot for your computer. The other releases will be re-issued in CD-enhanced form with bonus tacks and video also. And of course, a new D.R.I. CD someday in the future. Plans are also in the works for releasing more of old unreleased material on CD and DVDs. Look for skateboards, too, from Beer City Skateboards."
