CYCLOPHONIA Wants To 'Kick Your F**king Nuts To Pieces!'

August 14, 2011

Norwegian melodic metallers CYCLOPHONIA have revealed the cover art for their forthcoming debut album, "Impact Is Imminent", tentatively due in early 2012 via an as-yet-undetermined record label.

Commented the band: "Our brand of metal is built around the principle of great guitar riffs, neck-breaking dual-guitar melodies, equally neck-breaking and soaring vocal lines; all backed by some massive and groovy bass and drums.

"We are sick and tired of the trend where melodic metal is pussified beyond belief by insipid, washed-out third-generation copies of those who once pioneered the genre. Metal is a versatile beast and it can appear in many forms, but at its core should always be an attitude born from hunger, rage and a desire to unleash and just wreck everything in sight! Thus we declare our mission statement: We have come to this planet to kick your fucking nuts to pieces!!"

A YouTube teaser containing rough-mix samples of a few tracks from "Impact Is Imminent" can be found below.

CYCLOPHONIA is:

Andreas Angell: Vocals
Kai Joar Kristensen: Vocals
ystein Kvile Hanssen: Guitars
Hvar Robertsen: Guitars
Kristian Kvile Hanssen: Bass
Nikolai Ursin: Drums

CYCLOPHONIA is currently seeking a suitable record label to release "Impact Is Imminent"
