CROWBAR's WINDSTEIN Auctioning Custom Guitar

January 6, 2005

CROWBAR guitarist/vocalist Kirk Windstein is auctioning a Les Paul custom guitar on eBay. "I just struck a deal with ESP and I'll be using them primarily," he writes on the group's web site. "I used this guitar for the drop B songs ('Bury Me In Smoke' and 'Eyes Of The South') on most of the DOWN shows in 2002. This guitar is in great shape and sounds killer. I've got a few other Les Paul customs already, so I'm letting this one go. I'd rather it go to a CROWBAR or DOWN fan than anyone else."

As previously reported, CROWBAR's new album, "Lifesblood for the Downtrodden", is scheduled for release on February 8 through Candlelight Records.

The follow-up to 2001's "Sonic Excess In Its Purest Form", "Lifesblood for the Downtrodden" was produced by the working team of Warren Riker (DOWN) and Rex Brown (PAN, DOWN). Brown also handled the bass duties on the album, which marks a return to the group's recording lineup of drummer Craig Nunenmacher (BLACK LABEL SOCIETY).
