CRISIS Frontwoman Focuses On Oil Painting Series, Leatherworks Collections

November 30, 2006

While on hiatus from her band CRISIS this past year, vocalist Karyn Crisis has been working on a new oil painting series as well as new Karyn Crisis Leatherworks collections. Focusing on her art has culminated in the launch of her new web site, www.KarynCrisis.com, which features a gallery of her oil paintings and a new shop where her latest leatherwork pieces can be purchased. Karyn will also soon be releasing limited-edition art giclee prints of select paintings that will also be availble in the shop.

CRISIS's last album, "Like Sheep Led to Slaughter", was released in May 2004 through The End/Children Of Rage Records. CRISIS' video for the track "Blood Burden" was shot in April 2004 with director Darren Doane (DEFTONES, AFI, THURSDAY, NILE). A follow-up clip, "Waking the Dead", was filmed in January 2005 at the site of an abandoned women's hospital in the boiler and patient rooms.
