CRIMINAL Name New Album

November 4, 2003

Anglo-Chilean metallurgists CRIMINAL have finished recording and mixing their new album, "No Gods No Masters", at Springvale Studios in Suffolk, U.K. "We tried quite a few new things on this album," explains frontman Anton Reisenegger (ex-PENTAGRAM),"and at some point I was kinda worried that it wouldn't sound like CRIMINAL any more. But when we did the vocals and guitar overdubs it all fell into place nicely. It does definitely sound like CRIMINAL, only faster and heavier!"

Without a bassist since Rob Eaglestone's (ex-CRADLE OF FILTH) departure last February, the band recorded the album as a four-piece, with bass duties being handled by the band's two guitarists. Auditions to fill the vacant slot will be held later this year.

The tentative track listing for "No Gods No Masters" is as follows:

01. Aberration
02. Deconstruction
03. Consumed
04. No Return
05. Tidal Wave
06. Downfall
07. Idol
08. Dark Half
09. Faceless
10. Violent Change
11. Bow To None

"No Gods No Masters" will be released in Europe on February 23, 2004 through Metal Blade Records.
