Alaska-based heavy-hitters 36 CRAZYFISTS have set "The Tide and Its Takers" as the title of their new album, tentatively due in March 2008 via the group's new label, Ferret Music. The band is about to begin recording the effort with guitarist and backing vocalist Steve Holt sitting in the producer's chair. Andy Sneap (MACHINE HEAD, TESTAMENT, AS I LAY DYING) will once again mix the CD at his Backstage Studios in England.Commented lead singer Brock Lindow: "Our new record is now finished being written and we will start recording right after Thanksgiving. We will be out on tour in January starting with the UK and Europe first, looking forward to hitting the road and seeing all of our friends again." 36 CRAZYFISTS will support BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE in Europe beginning on January 31 in Newport, UK. The band's last album, "Rest inside the Flames", was released in North America in November 2006 via DRT Entertainment. 36 CRAZYFISTS' video for the song "I'll Go Until My Heart Stops" from "Rest Inside the Flames" can be viewed below. "Rest inside the Flames" was produced by Sal Villanueva, who has previously worked with THURSDAY, TAKING BACK SUNDAY and VISION OF DISORDER, among others.
