CRADLE OF FILTH Finish Filming 'Nymphetamine' Video

August 14, 2004

British extreme metallers CRADLE OF FILTH have finished filming a video for the title track of their new album, "Nymphetamine". Commented bassist Dave Pybus: "The video shoot for 'Nymphetamine' went great. Had a very early start at 7am, obviously with a hangover, and spent 14 hours holed up in a damp underground vault near the London Dungeon. Pretty grim stuff. The director, Dani Jacobs, and his crew were brilliant and worked flat-out all day filming lots of different scenes with Dani, the band, Liv Kristine [LEAVES' EYES, ex-THEATRE OF TRAGEDY] and our 2 very beautiful actresses. I can't wait to see the finished version. Hope they get to include what will be the first windmill headbanging in a metal ballad, haha!!! Liv was amazing and I wanna thank her for being so cool."

The follow-up to last year's "Damnation and a Day", "Nymphetamine" (roughly translated as the druggish beast-like addiction to beautiful, classical women) is scheduled for release on September 28 through Roadrunner Records. The album was produced by ANTHRAX guitarist Rob Caggiano, who has previously worked with the group during the mixing stage for "Damnation…". Mixing duties were handled by Colin Richardson (FEAR FACTORY, MACHINE HEAD, NAPALM DEATH). An MP3 of the album track "Gilded Cunt" can be downloaded at this location.
