CRADLE OF FILTH: Expanded Edition Of 'Nymphetamine' To Feature Appearance By KING DIAMOND

November 30, 2004

British extreme metallers CRADLE OF FILTH are preparing to release an expanded special edition of their Roadrunner Records debut, "Nymphetamine", on March 1, 2005. The package, which will include new and expanded artwork, will feature a second disc containing two new tracks, three cover tunes, plus two remixes, one of the album's title track along with the video for the track as an enhanced element.

Included among the covers is a remake of committed Christian, Sir Cliff Richard's 1976 hit "Devil Woman", with guest vocals by the infamous King Diamond. The band will be creating an animated video for the track based upon the characters created in the "Dominator" animated movie and comic series (to which lead singer Dani Filth offers his vocal talents). Also included are covers of OZZY OSBOURNE's "Mr. Crowley" and "Bestial Lust" from black metal godfathers BATHORY. The two new tracks, recorded in early October specifically for this collection, are entitled "Prey" and "Soft White Throat". Rounding out the collection is a remix of "Nymphetamine", featuring band vocalist Sarah Jezebel Diva; the original version, which featured vocals from Liv Kristine Espenaes of LEAVES' EYES and a remix of "Filthy Little Secret" by Rob Caggiano.

The Liv Kristine version of "Nymphetamine" impacted at the Active Rock format on Monday, November 29, but programmers have already jumped on board early, with WZZN/Chicago, WJJO/Madison, KISW/Seattle and WXQR/Greenville, NC ahead of the curve and spinning the track.

CRADLE OF FILTH are currently headlining throughout the U.S. with ARCH ENEMY, BLEEDING THROUGH and HIMSA in tow.
