COURTNEY LOVE Says 'Sick' MARILYN MANSON Has Accused Her Of Staging Hospitalization

August 3, 2004

The New York Post is reporting that Courtney Love seemed much more in control than usual last week when she appeared at a court hearing in Los Angeles in connection with her attempted Oct. 2 break-in at her ex-boyfriend's home.

But she did have one strange moment when she launched into an unsolicited attack on rocker Marilyn Manson outside court.

"You know Marilyn Manson is saying that I staged [her July 9 hospitalization]," she said. "Isn't that sick."

In other Manson-related news, MARILYN MANSON fan site Marilyn-Manson.net is reporting that Chuck Palahniuk's recently released book, "Stranger Than Fiction: True Stories", features an interview with Manson. The interview appears in a section entitled "Portraits" where Palahniuk takes a step back and writes and interviews other people like Juliette Lewis, a few semi-obscure writer-types, and "Rocket Guy", who wants to launch himself into space in a homemade rocket.
