CONTRIVE Working On Material For Sophomore Album

Melbourne, Australia power trio CONTRIVE has been hard at work penning new tracks for its upcoming sophomore album, tentatively due sometime in 2007. The band's debut CD, "The Meaning Unseen", was mixed by Fredrik Nordström (DIMMU BORGIR, DARK TRANQUILLITY) and was relesed last year through Shock Records.

In other news, CONTRIVE has scheduled an appearance next Saturday (October 14) at Casey's Nightclub in Melbourne. Other bands slated to appear are KIZMET and BANE GOAT.
