CONTRA: New Video, Album Samples Posted Online

July 2, 2005

California-based metallers CONTRA have posted their video for the track "This Machine Kills" at their official web site. Check it out at this location.

"This Machine Kills" is the title track from their forthcoming debut album, due on August 30 via Mediaskare Records. The CD was recorded at Undercity Studios with producer Logan Mader (MACHINE HEAD, SOULFLY) and was originally scheduled to be released through Corporate Punishment Records — a plan that was eventually abandoned due to "financial issues with the label," according to a posting on the group's web site. Two more tracks from the album — "Presence" and "Learning to Count" — can be heard on the band's MySpace.com page. A U.S. tour will follow the album's release.
