CHRIS CORNELL Celebrates Engagement In Paris

The New York Post reports that Chris Cornell, who sang for grunge gods SOUNDGARDEN and now fronts AUDIOSLAVE, celebrated his engagement to Paris-based publicist Vicky Karayiannis at Le Bar at the Plaza Athenee Hotel the other night. After Cornell gave his fiancée a Harry Winston diamond, the happy couple partied with supermodels Adriana Lima and Eva Herzigova, actor Sean William Scott and fashion photographer Patrick Demarchelier.

Cornell was previously married to former SOUNDGARDEN/ALICE IN CHAINS manager Susan Silver, with whom he has a three-year-old daughter, Lily.
