CHIRAW: Debut Album Being Mixed By TEXTURES Guitarist

June 2, 2007

Dutch 2006 Jägermeister Metal Bash winners CHIRAW are mixing their debut album, "Dark Frequencies", with TEXTURES guitarist Jochem Jacobs for a late 2007 release.

Currently unsigned, CHIRAW has been added to the pre-festival party at this year's Waldrock festival on July 6 in Burgum, the Netherlands. Also scheduled to appear are HATESPHERE and DELAIN.

Formed in January 2006, CHIRAW's debut EP, "Resurrection", was released last year. According to the band's official bio, "CHIRAW tries to let their music be heard in every way possible . . . with their combination of heavy, energized, brutal riffs, industrial atmospheric samples, crystal clean melodies, killer shouts and ground-pounding beats to energize the scene."
