CHIMAIRA Nominated For FREE TIMES Music Award

January 14, 2005

CHIMAIRA have been nominated in the sixth annual Free Times Music Awards. This marks the fourth time the band have been nominated, having won each of the three times they've been nominated previously.

The awards ceremony for this Cleveland-based honor will be held on Thursday, February 24 at the Odeon.

CHIMAIRA recently issued their first DVD, "The Dehumanizing Process", via Roadrunner Records. A 90-minute, behind-the-scenes documentary that follows the band from writing and recording their latest album, "The Impossibility of Reason", in 2003, through their stint on the RoadRage tour with labelmates MACHINE HEAD and TRIVIUM this past August, the DVD also includes almost an hour of performance footage captured live around the world. As an added bonus, the package includes the "This Presents Darkness" EP, the self-financed effort that initially brought the band to the attention of Roadrunner Records.
