CHAVIS RECORDS Signs BACKSEAT SUPERSTARS And VIOLENT DIVINE

January 2, 2006

Chavis Records has announced the signing of Atlanta's BACKSEAT SUPERSTARS and Sweden's VIOLENT DIVINE. The following information is taken from an official Chavis press release:

"Atlanta, GA based hard rock act BACKSEAT SUPERSTARS, best known for their high-energetic, alcohol-fueled rock n' roll, join Chavis Records for the release of their yet-to-be-titled debut CD. The SUPERSTARS blend many facets of the hard rock genre to bring you their version of how rock is meant to be; just five guys with one common goal — to play sleazy, ballsy, no frills, white-knuckled rock and roll, in an era that is overrun with corporate induced blandness. Checkout the single 'Motorcade' [mp3].

"The second new signing, VIOLENT DIVINE, [are a] hot new melodic rock band from Sweden. VIOLENT DIVINE delivers a retro influenced sound with a modern approach. Songs driven buy big guitars, pounding rhythms, huge hooks and memorable choruses are sure to please veteran melodic rockers and new fans alike. VD has signed on with Chavis Records for their debut release, simply titled 'Violent Divine'. Check out the single 'Enslaved' [mp3]."
