CHAOSBREED To Release Debut EP Through RISING REALM RECORDS

CHAOSBREED, the new Finnish death metal supergroup consisting of drummer Nalle Österman (ex-GANDALF),bassist Oppu Laine (ex-AMORPHIS, MANNHAI),guitarist Marko Tarvonen (MOONSORROW),guitarist Esa Holopainen (AMORPHIS),and vocalist Taneli Jarva (ex-SENTENCED, THE BLACK LEAGUE),will be releasing a five-song EP, "Unleashed Carnage", later this month through resurrected Finnish label Rising Realm Records. The first 200 copies of the EP will be available during the Tuska Festival weekend in Helsinki, Finland, where the group are scheduled to make their live debut on Friday, July 11 at the Stella Star Club. "Unleashed Carnage" will receive a "proper" Finnish release on July 21, with the international release date to follow a short time later.

As previously reported, CHAOSBREED are currently rehearsing material for a full-length album, to be recorded in August at Sunlight Studio in Stockholm, Sweden with producer Tomas Skogsberg. A late 2003/early 2004 release through an as-yet-undetermined label is expected.
