CELLOUT Singer To Participate In Swedish TV Program

June 14, 2004

Sweden's CELLOUT have been forced to turn down a number of festival gigs in June and July so that the group's singer, Percy Mejhagen (info),could participate in SVT's (Swedish national television) new production, called "Riket" (Swedish for "the Realm"). In the meantime, several new songs have been recorded and the rest of the band will mix and rehearse this material in Percy's absence.

According to Jarowskij.se, "Riket" is a large-scale reality drama project in which the history of the Swedish people will be recreated. "What we so far just could image will now be-come reality — a number of chosen men and women will get the possibility to travel in the past. The adventure is a strategic power struggle with a clear strategic theme. The programme will offer exciting insights about life in different historical epochs."
