CATARACT Seeking Extras For Video Shoot

July 23, 2008

Swiss metalcore act CATARACT has issued the following update:

"We're looking for people to appear in the filming of a new video. If you're interested and able to make it to a place between Bern, Zurich and Winterthur on the 16/17th of August, feel free to drop a line to info@cataract and please put something like 'videoshooting' in the header. We will issue more precise info soon, i.e. where and when we're gonna do it but you can already write in. So get your a%&!s up and write us! Yes, you can take your friends with you and NO your dog has to stay at home."

CATARACT's self-titled fifth full-length album, was released in Europe on March 25. According to a press release, the CD is by far CATARACT's most progressive to date, showing a lot more variety by adding a lot of brutality and speed but also more melody and heaviness. The massive production of Tue Madsen rounds off the package, which was made available in three editions: as a regular CD, as a limited-edition CD with a bonus disc (for which the band recorded a whole bunch of cover songs) and as a picture disc on vinyl (limited to 500 copies).
