CARMINE APPICE's SLAMM To Perform At Sky City Casino This Weekend

November 20, 2008

Described as "'Stomp' on steroids," legendary rock drummer Carmine Appice brings his high-energy show SLAMM to Sky City Casino in Acoma, New Mexico on Saturday, November 22, 2008. Doors are at 8:00 p.m.; tickets are $15 and are available by calling 888-SKY-CITY or at the casino's box office. All ages are welcome to attend.

SLAMM is an explosive, physical display of rock and rhythm lead by master showman Carmine Appice. Appice, along with four young drummers, rule the stage, creating innovative rock music by playing buckets, oilcans, trampolines, drain pipes and even Dixie cups! SLAMM's exhilarating and imaginative percussion delivers an electrifying and highly entertaining theatrical experience.

Currently, SLAMM stars in a big-budget promotional video for ESPN, in which the SLAMM cast "plays" the NASCAR garage to a custom SLAMM-composed NASCAR theme song (see clip below). This video is played every week on ESPN's NASCAR television broadcasts and is seen by over three million people per week.
