CANNIBAL CORPSE To Release Special Box Set In November

May 29, 2003

Death metal legends CANNIBAL CORPSE will be releasing a box set containing three CDs and one DVD in November. Included on the CDs will be CANNIBAL CORPSE's original demo that the band made before signing to Metal Blade Records in 1990, three new cover songs, the unreleased "Created To Kill" album (recorded during the "Vile" studio sessions) featuring Chris Barnes on lead vocals),and a "best of" collection to be picked out by Metal Blade head honcho Brian Slagel and the band. The DVD will have the much-bootlegged Moscow concert originally recorded on May 25, 1993, the band's first show ever opening for DARK ANGEL, and their entire set at the Metal Blade Records 20th Anniversary Party excluding two songs which will go on Metal Blade's 20th Anniversary DVD. There will also be 10-15 minutes of behind-the-scenes material shot from when the band was recording "Eaten Back To Life" and "Butchered at Birth". The box set will also include a poster, 2000 of which will be signed by the band, a comic book drawn by non other than Vincent Locke, a huge booklet that will contain many pics and a history of the band, and last but not least, a CANNIBAL CORPSE guitar pick. More information will be made available soon.
