CALIBAN To Release New Album In The Fall, Launch U.S. Tour

July 13, 2004

German metalcore outfit CALIBAN have signed with Abacus and Roadrunner Records for the American territory and the world outside the U.S., respectively. The group's fourth full-length album, "The Opposite From Within", will be issued in the U.S. on October 5 (September 20 in Europe).

Produced by IN FLAMES frontman Anders Friden and mixed and mastered by Andy Sneap (MACHINE HEAD, KILLSWITCH ENGAGE, ARCH ENEMY) at the Backstage Studio in the U.K., "The Opposite From Within" "takes the band's formula of SLAYER-esque, precise metal guitars with emotional hardcore to a whole new level of maturity," according to a press release. "Double-bass mosh parts, enormous walls of guitar and the band’s keen sense of melody are played with utter conviction throughout the 12-song outing."
