BUCKCHERRY, SAVING ABEL, SHINEDOWN To Continue Trek Together

September 15, 2008

According to The Pulse of Radio, BUCKCHERRY, SHINEDOWN and SAVING ABEL will start their tour together on Tuesday (September 16) in Moline, Illinois, despite the loss of co-headliner AVENGED SEVENFOLD because of frontman M. Shadows's strained voice. BUCKCHERRY is now the sole headliner and a statement at the band's website is billing the trek as "three bands for the price of one." In the same statement, singer Josh Todd said, "We're glad to hear that Shadows is fine, and can't wait to get out on the road with the band in November. We have a great show planned, and we are pumped to get on the road behind the new album and play it for the fans."

Shadows himself added, "We're happy to hear that BUCKCHERRY will carry on with the dates we had scheduled together and look forward to joining them for a kick ass tour in November."

All four bands will reunite on November 4 for a new round of dates beginning in Caspar, Wyoming.

BUCKCHERRY's new album, "Black Butterfly", arrives on Tuesday as well. A pre-taped performance by the band of its single "Too Drunk..." will air that night on ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live!"
