BRUTUS Part Ways With Guitarist, Seek Replacement

Dutch death metallers BRUTUS have parted ways with guitarist Bastærd (TEXTURES, ex-LOST SACRAMENT). No reason was given for his departure. The group are currently seeking a replacement. All applicants must have "great instrument control and experience, [and] must be able to improvise and play solos. Riff contribution is a MUST. Keen sense on the engineering of critically high acclaimed monotonous Death Metal, musical feel and individual style." In addition, they must be "charismatic, comfortable on a stage, entertaining, must be able to do vocals and give hairy energy to the eternal dynamo called Brutertje Brutus Synchro Windmill." If interested, write to [email protected] (write "Audition Brutus Guitarist" in the subject box).

BRUTUS released their debut album, "Slachtbeest", late last year through Unique Leader Records.
