BRUCE DICKINSON/WARRIOR Bassist RAY BURKE Laying Down Tracks In Studio; Video Available

December 23, 2008

FPE-TV has posted a one-and-a-half-minute clip (see below) of bassist Ray Burke (WARRIOR, BRUCE DICKINSON, LIFE AFTER DEATH) laying down tracks in the studio.

Regarding how he came to play bass on most of BRUCE DICKINSON's "Tyranny of Souls" album, Burke told the Book of Hours web site, "I've become great friends with Roy Z [BRUCE DICKINSON guitarist/producer] ever since playing together in WARRIOR. He also produced our LIFE AFTER DEATH record and I've worked with him on various other projects; so through him I was presented with this great opportunity."

Asked what the most rewarding thing was about his work on "Tyranny of Souls", Burke said, "Bruce is and has been one of the strongest voices in metal since day one. Also, the fact that he plays with one of rock's greatest bass players in Steve Harris makes it a great honor to be involved."

Burke is currently working on a jazz/rock solo CD called "Humanity Street" which will feature guest appearances by Roy Z (BRUCE DICKINSON, HALFORD, ROB ROCK, TRIBE OF GYPSIES) and Azar Lawrence (MILES DAVIS),among others.
