BROTHERHOOD OF THE LAKE Signs With GLASSTONE RECORDS

December 16, 2008

Glasstone Records has announced the signing of BROTHERHOOD OF THE LAKE from Plymouth, U.K. According to a press release, the band "brings an onslaught of spiky guitar riffs and roaring vocals, backed up by an absolute bull of a drummer, keeping the songs on lockdown through beatdown after beatdown. The onstage charisma of vocalist Robert Clark is more than enough to win over the hardest of crowds with his words conducting the rest of the band from song to song seamlessly."

Having made its live debut in 2006 and influenced by bands such as CONVERGE, SLAYER and SHELLAC, BROTHERHOOD OF THE LAKE has made no compromises with its sound and plays a show as if doing this runs in their blood. The group has toured with JOHNNY TRUANT and THE BLED, and has played shows with ARCHITECTS, THE BLACKOUT, MISERY SIGNALS, TERROR, EMMURE, DEAD SWANS, AUGUST BURNS RED, THE GHOST OF A THOUSAND, DEVIL SOLD HIS SOUL, SHAPED BY FATE and more.

Due in march 2009, BROTHERHOOD OF THE LAKE's self-titled EP was recorded at Outhouse Studios in Reading by Matt O'Grady and Ben Humphries, mixed by John Mitchell, and features five of the band's finest tracks to date:

01. Fifty Owls In One House
02. The Ocean
03. Hyenas
04. The Blood Of Goliath
05. This Glorious Fall
