Brooklyn-Based Rock Trio ZO2 To Promote Debut CD On KISS/POISON Summer Tour

June 9, 2004

The Brooklyn-based rock trio ZO2 has been named as the opening act for the eagerly anticipated KISS and POISON tour in summer 2004. KISS has always fearlessly taken hot up-and-coming acts on the road with them as openers often rocketing those artists to success, and ZO2 is the latest in that long, distinguished line of bands. ZO2 will be out promoting their debut album, "Tuesdays & Thursdays", independently released on their own Splivey Cool Entertainment Inc. label.

"We all grew up idolizing KISS, so this tour is a dream come true for us," says ZO2 guitarist/vocalist Paulie Z. "There are tapes of David and I as kids singing and playing their classic 'Alive' album."

ZO2 features brothers Paulie Z and David Z (vocals, bass guitar) and Joey Cassata (drums). David has served as the longtime bass guitarist for the East Coast touring company of the holiday favorite TRANS-SIBERIAN ORCHESTRA and Joey was an understudy with the BLUE MAN GROUP's Las Vegas-based company.

The 12 songs on the album include:

01. Takin' Me Down
02. Temptation
03. Living Now
04. Dirty Water
05. Radio
06. Fly on Your Wings
07. Breakdown
08. Liar
09. Paper Breakup
10. Wait
11. Head Up
12. Sweet Lover
