BRING ME THE HORIZON: Remixed Version Of 'Suicide Season' Due In November

August 30, 2009

According to Rock Sound, British metalcore act BRING ME THE HORIZON will release a remixed version of its latest album, "Suicide Season", on November 2 via Visible Noise. "Suicide Season - Cut Up" will also include the original version of "Suicide Season" as a bonus and will be packed with "additional treats and good stuff."

"It all started because I had a friend who is into making electro stuff and I asked him if he wanted to remix one of our songs," vocalist Oli Sykes told Rock Sound. "We were stoked on the end result and I thought it would be awesome if we could get every song remixed! We told our label and managers about the idea and they thought it was a good one. From there, we came up with a list of people we would love to remix our songs and started mailing people."

Tek-One, Robot Sonic, Ben Weinman from THE DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN, Outcry Collective, L'Amour La Morgue (Ian Watkins from LOSTPROPHETS),Utah Saints and Shawn "Clown" Crahan from SLIPKNOT are among the musicians and producers who remixed and reinterpreted BRING ME THE HORIZON's music to create "Suicide Season - Cut Up".

According to Sykes, the album will be a surprise to both fans and critics alike.

"To be honest, there's not a song on there that really sounds like the original," he told Rock Sound. "What's great though is the diversity of each song. There's dub-step to hip-hop, electro to drum and bass. It's great!"
