MÖTLEY CRÜE bassist Nikki Sixx has posted the following message to the "Rock 'n' Roll Diary" section of CRÜE's official web site:

"I wanted to confirm that we [BRIDES OF DESTRUCTION] have 'passed' on the KISS tour for now. There is still a offer for Europe in September. We're confirmed on the Download Festival in England in June. Headliners are METALLICA. We are routing a headline tour of 1,200 seaters to start off for April, but were still in talks about some other possible opportunities.

"I've received a lot of e-mails about bands you would like to see us tour with. Most of them I've forward to our agency. Thank you.

"It's a strange time with this FCC witch hunt. I've never seen anything like this before. A lot of friends have been fired for only being outspoken… I could go on for days. But why? S.T.F.U.

"Speaking of radio…because of the heat the stations are getting, I'm seeing radio jumping on 'I Don't Care' and playing it… That's not a bad thing…but we will continue to work 'S.T.F.U.'… In the end I've always believed to let the fans vote on what they really want to hear at radio…

"London did his first 15-hour day of press with me yesterday…. he held up great…it is a brain drain to do it all day into the night…god bless young blood….

"Back to smell.a…New York rocked as usual.

"Can't wait to play 'Leno' Monday…."
